1705.23 PRAY FOR MANCHESTER

As a father to daughters who I've picked up after a concert in the past I'm struggling to come to terms with the events last night at Manchester.

I don't like writing these posts, it feels like I write too many of them these days. This one feels so much closer to home. Not because I live just across the Pennines but because the target this cowardly act is children.

Parents who let their kids go to see a favourite singer only to have them brutally taken, as a father I find my mind trying to put myself in the situation only for it to not be able to comprehend. My heart, my prayers and my thoughts are with everyone affected and all in Manchester at this sad and devastating time.
