Twenty years ago this very day Morticia became my bride, we were married. Today we celebrate that day and the journey that has brought us to this day.
It's not been an easy ride. In fact I'd say it's been more "poorer" than "richer" and more "sickness" than "health". We've taken some hard roads but I think we are stronger for it.
So where did all that time go? We spent a few hours last week watching old home movies and realising just how things have changed within our family. The girls are all grown up and one has flown the nest, we are older, possibly wiser and definitely more comfortable within ourselves. The tough times have not broken us, in fact I believe we have become considerably stronger for it.
So today we find ourselves in our favourite place and planning to enjoy a boat trip then a meal together as a family (because this anniversary is more a celebration of our family than just us two). After that who knows, we will just enjoy our time here.
As for the next 20 years? Who knows what the future holds for us. We are happy and my only wish is we continue being happy.
