THE JARL
The face of the operation. You can find the full saga in the About Me section above.
MORTICIA
The Shield-maiden and my everything. They say behind every great man is a great woman; the truth is, I’d simply be lost without her.
MY GIRLS
Harley and Rags. Raising daughters has been the greatest privilege of my life. They’re grown now, but getting time with them is still the best part of any day.
THE BOY
Atreus. My grandson and the greatest gift. Son of Rags, he has brought a new level of meaning to everything I do.
THE BEST MATE
The oath-brother. We’ve been mates since we were 16 years old. Too much history to count and a bond that’s stood the test of time.

Hope you have a fab time in Welsh Wales. Remember, Welsh sheep never say "No!" so don't forget your wellies. As for "defend the mighty Yorkshire Pudding" - this is a battlecry that has my full approval.
ReplyDeleteI will always defend the mighty Pwdin Efrog.
DeleteDavid has Welsh ancestry, and makes a mean Welsh cake (but not often enough). We've been; arriving by train from London... at least I think it was London. The people were lovely. We also have an old blog friend that lives in a little cottage up in the north. Not the end of the earth, but you can see it from there.
ReplyDeleteI love Welsh cakes, you're lucky to have them on tap.
DeleteTwo family holidays by car in Britain back in my teens included Wales; it's indeed a fascinating landscape, easy to fall in love with! We were there in June, with gorse in bloom.
ReplyDeleteIt's an amazing place. I love our time there.
