A lot of couples have a song. A song is a particular tune that reminds you of each other and the love you share together. Many people choose a song that they think reflects what that have but I am a firm believer that the song chooses you. That's what happened for us.

Morticia and me back in the 90s

Morticia and I started 'going out' in the spring of 1994. Around the same time Wet Wet Wet released a cover of the Troggs hit "Love is All Around". It quickly got to number one and promptly stayed there all summer long (15 weeks). Every time we turned on the car radio the song was there. It was on TV and of course was attached to the movie 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.

Our song has the benefit of a Christmas version (and I'm sure not many people can say that). In the movie 'Love Actually' the character of Billy Mack (Bill Nighy) records a cheesy version of our song called "Christmas is All Around".
