I take all the stick for my unwavering loyalty, letting the judgement wash over me entirely because the deep connection I share with Cymru, and this specific stretch of the Ceredigion coast, is where my heart truly lives.

2211.18 EMERGENCE FROM THE DARK

No I'm not talking about the current political climate, cost of living crisis or the state of the world right now. Emergence from that seems unlikely, at least anytime soon. I've marked a number of milestones this year but one of them isn't something I relish.

Friday was Mental Health Awareness Day. Over the last few months I've been increasingly aware that my own mental health has been slipping. There's a lot going on and I realise I might not be handling it very well. One thing I thought might be beneficial to take a bit of time out.

Things haven't been great recently. There are certain facets of life that have conspired to fuck with my head. I get that life isn't straightforward but sometimes the shit keeps on coming.

Sometimes everything just gets on top of me. My world detaches from my mind and I lose my way. Why? I wish I knew. I don't have a reason, it comes and goes at random with no cause or catalyst.
