THE CAPTAIN'S ANNUAL YULETIDE MESSAGE AND AWARDS

very year, at the same time as the monarch delivers their message to the Commonwealth, I post my message to the world. This year is no different... except it is. I always write about the highs and lows of the year, but this time, I’ve decided to frame my annual review as an awards ceremony.

2101.01 THE DAY AFTER THE DARKEST YEAR

I'd say most of us will be glad to see the back of 2020. I called it last year as a shit year but obviously didn't forsee the pandemic and the associated blight to all our lives. 

2001.01 THE ROARING TWENTIES

As another decade closes I can't help look at the time that has passed. So whilst looking back on the last year I also find myself going back over the last 10 years, and some of it was very painful.
