Once again I find that I am plodding through this lockdown with very little in the way of direction. Still things move forward and there have been some changes.

I love drawing, it's a good way for me to process my thoughts and to channel them into a physical manifestation. It doesn't matter if I'm any good at it - I enjoy it and I get a lot back from it.

I have a confession.

I love cartoons (that's not the confession). The actual confession is that I've never before watched the animation of Seth MacFarlane! Why? I always thought he was trying to knock off The Simpsons so never watched.

Time to relax is important. It's just as important to relax your mind as well as your body. That was the plan anyway this weekend gone.

Creating and changing my website is very therapeutic so it's perhaps no surprise that since I'm feeling so down at the moment that I've created a new page. As from today my 'Toons' page is online. I'm hoping to add some more insight into my creative process in the future but for now it's a display of my personal favourites. Enjoy.

0908.04 NORMAL SERVICE IS RESUMED

I know I haven't blogged for ages, this is mainly because I wanted to do an illustration and I lost my favourite pencil. As time passed it got harder to get around to it.

So, what's happened so far?

The biggest event was my eldest daughter's 13th birthday. A big event with a big limo and her first proper girls night out (bowling). I'm now the proud father of a teenager.

Oh, and I have a new pencil!
